I took my sister out for an early birthday present the other night. We went up to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. They have a program called Summer Nights, where they play a movie outdoors at the amphitheater. We had so much fun! The movie we went to see was Mommie Dearest. I remembered this movie from when I was a kid, but I didn’t remember how hilarious it was. Not purposely hilarious, but it was so full of overly dramatic moments and lines that, I am sure, back in the day were really effective, but in the here & now, it was just hysterical. The entire audience laughed throughout the movie.
We had a blast and I loved the outdoor movie atmosphere, so we’ll definitely be going back and I’d really like to take the girls up there sometime as I think they’d get a kick out of it too.
We had plenty of time before the movie started, so we walked around and looked at the gardens for a little bit beforehand. I wanted to take her into the Lily House, but they were closed for the evening. We did walk around and look at the outside of the house a little bit though.
