Science Fair & Basketball Camp

The 3rd grade held a science fair the other night.  There were some really awesome projects.  I was impressed with all of the kids.  Katie did her project on the effects of different beverages on your teeth.

She used eggs to represent teeth and then soaked them in grape juice, coffee, Coke & tomato juice.  Turns out grape juice stains the most.

This afternoon was Nanner’s last day of basketball camp.  She really enjoyed it and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with her.  She hustled and has a pretty decent shot…for 6 years old, anyway. 🙂   This picture is kinda grainy, but just look at that form, would ya!

And check out these mad defensive skillz!

She really enjoyed it and got a nice certificate and a t-shirt.

Great project! Teaching them about things like this at this age stick with them throughout life. And that’s a good thing.
Looks like Nanner’s found her sports niche. Go Nanner!
