Mmmmm…Hot Cocoa

If we can’t have spring, at least we can have this…

Hannah and I took the dogs for a walk around the block today and it started snowing a bit.  Not much and I’ve heard that we may get 1-2″ at the most, so I can handle that.

As we were walking, it was cold, but we heard lots of birds chirping, so that was encouraging.

And when we got home, we decided we needed to make some hot cocoa to warm our bones.

I love this hot cocoa.  The cinnamon in it really makes it wonderful.

Hot Cocoa

3/4 C. unsweetened cocoa
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 C. crushed candy canes (optional)

Mix all together and keep in ziplock bag.
Add 2T. cocoa mix to 1 C. hot milk.  Stir well.  Serve with mini marshmallows.

*None of the kids around here like it with the peppermint in it, so I usually leave it out, but I love it with.

    Three things:
    1. That cocoa sounds yummy!
    2. Your daughter has the sweetest smile!
    3. We have the same chairs in our kitchen!
