Spring, Oh How I Love Thee!

This morning when I got up and took Willie out, I was blown away by the sound of birds chirping in the trees!

Seriously, I kinda felt a little like Snow White and almost broke out into song.  Luckily for the neighbors, I resisted, but I was dangerously close to it.

In winter, you sorta forget that sound.  You walk outside and it’s completely silent.  And cold.  And the wind cuts you like a knife.  And your dog takes off like a rocket and drags you 3 feet through the snow on your face…what?  That doesn’t happen to you in winter?  Oh.  My bad.

But then one day you wake up and all of a sudden the birds are singing the hallelujah chorus!  I LOVE Spring!!!

I could handle the singing like Snow White as long as the bird didn’t end up like the one in Shrek.
But I’m with ya on the sounds of spring. Love hearing them, daytime or darktime.
