I Got Nothin’

I’m having a bit of writer’s block right now. Life is so crazy and stressful and I’m afraid of starting a new post and finding that I don’t have anything good to say.  I’m going to try to stay away from being negative right now.  So, hopefully you will get a laugh out of this, I did!  I love this show.  And I may actually adopt this method for paying the bills if things don’t change soon!

Sounds like a good idea to me.
And I can relate to staying away when there is nothing happy to talk about.
If we just lived closer we could meet in a park somewhere and cry on eachothers shoulder.
Then go back to the blog and tell how funny we looked while crying our eyes out.

Very cute clip. I love the “I Love Lucy” show! I read a little further down that your hubby is out of work. Many years ago my husband was out of work too, for a long time.

We lived on severance and then savings and unemployment. We had people give us money (even people we didn’t know) and God just really took care of us.

That’s when I first heard about using a “pricebook” and I read The Tighwad Gazette like crazy.

I know it’s discouraging right now, and I just wish that I could truly encourage you. All I can say is that I know it’s hard and discouraging, and there were times that I cried and just wanted some money so I could take my kids to McDonalds for goodness sake!

Difficulties like this build strength and confidence in you as you get thru the hard times. It caused me to try and make a game out of saving money and doing without, and that (and the Lord) encouraged me and kept me going.

Hugs honey. I remember when my Beloved was laid off in the early 90s.

You guys will get through this. I wish I could help some how, but I do keep you guys in prayer.

Thanks Mel. The prayers really mean so much to me!
