Today Hannah’s pre-K class went on a field trip to our local dentist here in town.
All of the kids were really interested. Well except for one little girl who was a little frightened…can you blame her though? I mean, it is the dentist afterall.
You all remember Hannah’s buddy, right? Well the dentist asked for a volunteer and he hopped right up in that chair and proceeded to open his mouth as wide as he could and left it that way for 15 minutes straight! I’m serious – he never closed his mouth!
Even though the dentist wasn’t doing anything to him yet or even looking in his direction for that matter.
Pre-K Teacher: “Landon, honey…you don’t have to open your mouth yet sweetie…Landon?”
Oh my! Do not talk to him while he is in the chair, it will cause him to open even wider! He’s serious about this people. Don’t talk to him while he’s concentrating on his dentist visit!
Pre-K Teacher: “Landon? Would you like to rest your mouth for a minute? It’s okay if you close it now, honey. See? The dentist is talking to the other children right now…Landon?”
Well, the blue light got his attention for a moment, at least. I’m telling you, I had tears streaming down my face from laughing. This guy is very serious about the dentist. And this obviously was not his first rodeo!
