Hurricane Ike

(I couldn’t get the video to embed into my post, so I just had to post a link…sorry!)

I think it’s very easy to pray for people while in the midst of a disaster. Every time you turn on the TV it seems like you see it.

It’s the days and weeks after, when the media attention dies down, that it is easy to forget about them. They still need our prayers.  I am guilty of this. I can be faithful to pray when I see something right in front of my face, but remembering to continue to pray after the fact, is not an area I am strong in. Just wanted to put a reminder out there that these folks still need our prayers…

I am like you, I pray at first, then get busy with life and forget. Thanks for the reminder.
