I think my husband is a girl!

Okay, I’ve been debating on whether to post this story or not.  I know Brian will probably kill me if he reads this, but it is just soooo funny!  I was dying to post it.  Considering that he never reads my blog, I think we’re probably safe!
One of my friend’s son’s is in the army & is being sent to Afghanistan in April.  Saturday night was his going away party.  So, on Saturday afternoon, Brian decided to call his best friend and “chat”.  Now, let me give you some back ground on this first.  My best friend and I have been friends for 15 years and we have one of those relationships where we might talk once a week on the phone or we might go a month without talking.  Either way, it’s fine for both of us.  We like it that way.  However, Brian and his friend, talk on the phone a lot.  And especially if we’re planning on doing something with them, then they’ll talk 3 or 4 times throughout the “big day”!  So, on Saturday afternoon, the phone calls started and I just roll my eyes and sigh to myself.  Oh, I forgot to mention that my nicknames for Brian and his friend are Nancy & Susie.  (Brian is Nancy) Anyway, Nancy calls Susie and while I couldn’t hear Susie’s end of the conversation, here’s what Nancy was saying:

“So, what are you doing?”
“Oh, really?  What are you going to the mall for?”
“New earrings?  What kind of earrings are you looking for?”
“Well, you should try Claire’s in the mall.”
“Yeah, that’s the kind of earring I have, only I only have one ear pierced instead of both.”
“Okay, well good luck, I’ll talk to ya later.”

So, then he hangs up the phone and looks at me & says “I need to run upstairs and put my earring in.”
Well, that’s all I could take, I completely lost it.  I laughed until I cried and then I laughed some more until I almost wet myself!  He gets so mad when I tease him about this, but I just can’t help it, I come from an entire family of people (on both my mom’s and dad’s side) that live to make fun of everyone else in the family, so in a way, it’s almost like I can’t really help but to make fun of him.  And he gives me so many opportunities, what else can I do???
He takes longer than I do to get ready and he ALWAYS has to have me look at his outfit and make sure it looks good before we go out.  He always wears cologne even if we are doing nothing but laying around the house all day…see what I mean people?  It’s a laugh a minute over here for me!

So, in conclusion, Nancy, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry but I could keep it to myself no longer!  I love you just the way you are.  With all the comedy you bring into my life, how could I not???

My, he sure is PURTY! What a woman you are to understand his wierd habits! I think he is more of a woman than I am. I never wear perfume anymore! Why waste it! LOL =0) When he starts critiquing(spell check that one)your outfits you might want to worry! Ya just gotta love him, feminine side and all!

Ha ha! Yeah, I’ll have to watch out for that. If he starts telling me my shoes SO don’t go with my outfit, I may have trouble! I think he looks lovely in the wig, don’t you?
